Today must be Krishna’s Happiest day ever

Today MUST be Krishna’s Happiest day ever

They sang and danced, laughed and shed tears. They threw flowers at each other and played with gulal. The widows of Vrindavan celebrated Holi with a riot of colours, defying tradition that bids them to stay away from festivities of all kind.

Traditions are made by men and they MUST CHANGE for the betterment of humans and society that is what they are and were meant for. If any tradition becomes an obstacle in the way of progress, improvement and success of human life then it should be discarded and thrown away.

I am glad that attitude is changing for widows of Vrindavan and I am sure Krishna must be the happiest of all today looking at their beautiful faces full of joy.
