Importance of Kubera Yantra

In this article we will give you a good preview about Lord Kubera and the Kubera yantra. We will first discuss who Kuber was. Legend goes that he was a simple man. He was a great devotee and worshiper of Lord Shiva.

Meditation of Kuber

Kuber spent years of his life to worship Shiva. One day Shiva was very pleased with him. He appeared in front of him and asked him what he wanted. Kubera told Lord Shiva that he wanted to become popular. He said that everyone makes fun of him as he was not good looking and obese.

He requested the Lord to grant him something that would make him very powerful. Lord Shiva granted him the wish. He told him that he would become the care taker of wealth. All the wealth of the world will be with him. Kubera became the treasurer of the world.

However, with power he became proudy and mindless. He wanted to make more and more money. He forgot that he was just a caretaker. He became very greedy and he would never share his wealth with anyone. Lord Shiva got to know about this. He realised that he gave Kuber an extraordinary power but Kuber did not know how to use it. This is exactly why lord Shiva decided that he must teach Kuber a lesson.

One day he visited Kuber as a Sanyasi. He told Kuber that he must arrange for a grand feast. In this feast he should call all the kings and the Gods. This will ensure that the world gets to know about the importance of Kubera. Kubera agreed and went and invited all the Gods and kings.

When Kubera reached Kailash Lord Shiva told him that he will not be able to make it to the feast. However, he would send Ganesha. Ganesha told Kubera that he will come only if Kubera promises that he will feed him first. Kubera agreed. The day of the feast came. Ganesha arrived and Kubera started to feed him. Lord Ganesha started to eat and His appetite seemed literally infinite.

He ate almost all the food that Kubera had prepared. It was not enough so Ganesha wanted more. Kubera had no idea what to do now as all the food in his stock was over. Ganesha got furious. He wanted to eat and there was no food. So he started to feed on the palace of Kubera and then his accumulated wealth. Kubera was very upset and helpless. He had invited Ganesh so he could not do much. Even after eating all the wealth and the palace Ganesha was still hungry. Now he was all set to have Kubera himself. This was when Lord Shiva and his wife arrived. They came to rescue Kubera.

After this incident Kubera realised that how important it was to be humble. No one has enough wealth as wealth can leave us easily. He asked for forgiveness and he said that he will always ensure that he is the caretaker of wealth. Lord Shiva was pleased with Kubera so he said the he will be always worshiped all over the world for wealth. Any household where Kubera is worshipped will always be prosperous. Kubera gave off all his arrogance and he decided to do as he was ordered by Lord Shiva. Since then Kubera has been worshiped and Kubera yantra is used to worship Kubera.

The Kubera Yantra

Kubera yantra is a small metal plate that you can find in most shops selling religious stuff. There are some rows and columns on this metal plate. The total of each row and column in a Kubera yantra is seventy two. This is a very strong number and it denotes prosperity. Anyone can get a Kubera yantra. However, before you buy a Kubera yantra ensure that you get it from a reliable source. This is because if the Kubera yantra is not good. It can do more bad than good.

You must consult an expert and only then buy the Kubera yantra. A good Kubera yantra that suits you can do wonders and similarly if the Kubera yantra does not suit you then it will cause you more damage.

A Kubera yantra can be kept in your house, in your office, etc. You can keep it anywhere you want. Every day you must worship the Kubera yantra. You must say the mantra of Kubera before the Kubera yantra. When you do that it will bless you with wealth and success. Many people all across the globe have used the Kubera yantra and they have benefited a lot from the same.

The Kubera yantra is a device that is engraved with luck lines. It ensures that it improves the luck of the person who is worshipping it. When you install a Kubera yantra the lord Kubera blesses you. As a result you gain wealth and you can also get back the wealth that you have lost. The mantra for Kubera is “Om Hreem Shreem Hreem Kuberaya Namaha”. You must pronounce it one hundred and eight (108) times a day. This is the best way to please Lord Kubera.

The Kubera yantra must be placed either in the East or the North corner of the house. The area where you place it must be clean. The Kubera yantra must not be touched by anyone else other than the person who has installed it. The Kubera yantra must be washed from time to time with rose water and milk. This washing of the Kubera yantra can make it change colour. However, don’t worry about that much.

After washing the Kubera yantra you must put four dots of sandal wood at the four corners of the Kubera yantra and one at the centre of it. After you do these you must put a candle or a ghee lamp in front of the Kubera yantra. You can also place an incense stick. Dry fruits can be offered as prasad to the Kubera yantra. This will be the prasad.

After all this is done you can chant the Kubera mantra that we have mentioned above one hundred and eight times. This will definitely ensure you good luck. This will also make it possible for you to get the best out of the pujas.

The Kubera yantra can be installed by anyone who wants a better life and money. You can also install it for better luck. It can be installed in a house as well as in an office. The Kubera yantra is very powerful and it can definitely change the cash inflow situation for anyone. You must ensure that you install a Kubera yantra in your home or office today. It is said that the Kubera yantra must be worshipped regularly for best results.

Only thing you must remember beyond all this is that certainly this is not a typical – get rich quick – type of thing. This is a practice which you would need to follow along with following the other dimensions of the Law of Karma, keep doing good deeds, keep working hard and dont fall prey to greed or amassing wealth by wrong means. Then only the true affect of the Kubera Yantra would be visible in your life.
