Before you think of picking up that fizzy carbonated drink full of sugar and unwanted chemicals to quench your thirst, here are some ways that you can stay healthy this summer:
Lemonade
Available throughout the year, lemons are an excellent source of potassium, Vitamin C and a great way to detoxify your body. The anti-oxidants in lemon juice decrease blemishes and keep your skin hydrated.
Coconut Water
Packed with minerals, electrolytes and natural enzymes, coconut water is one of nature’s most refreshing drink to beat the heat and replenish the dehydrated body.
Buttermilk / Lassi
A great way to intake probiotics which help your digestive system while quenching your thirst.
Watermelon
